50K is a disgrace.
I understand the issue of him walking away on a free at the end of the season but how did it get to this?
I would have preferred they transfer a player straight away if a player goes one day into his last year at the club without signing a new contract.
Its all about making money and lets not kid ourselves we would have got 250K min for Lee 6 months ago.
This club has a lot to learn about money and how to make it, we can all see how poor we are off the field in many ways all of which have been mentioned over the last year on various forums.
We need to get wise and get wise quick, staying up is one thing but making money is another and someone of Lee's talent to go for 50K is an absolute disgrace and someone should be kicked up the ass for letting that happen.
I pay a season ticket and costs of approx £25 a match to travel and watch the team I love - so STOP wasting it and lets make use of our assets.

£25 a match I reckon that's a bargain. :) I estimate my away games cost me anywhere between £50-100 per game. Fully agree with your comments, we have given him away. Lets hope we tied up a sell on clause at the very least.

i agree with you 50 grand for lee is shit and if ??????????? thommo were given that 50 grand we know he wont were would he get a replacement for 50 grand it will not happen you get what you pay for mr fry thanks for given lee away

The clubs agreed a figure. £50K officially and there will not have been any brown envelopes or dodgy transfer dealings.

Lee might not have wanted to go anywhere else other than Hearts but a little competition might have pushed the official price up somewhat.

Hearts have paid £50K for half a season + his wages. Had they waited to the end of the season they could have saved £50K. It'll be interesting to see how much 'per minute of 1st team football' Hearts have paid. That we will only be able to guess at the end of the season.

50K, 50K did someone say 50K for Johno, Webb you are off your f'n head if you think this is how we are going to progress.

It will cost the club a lot more than 50K if we don't stay in this league, and that should be the first priority, the second priority should be to stay in this league and the third yes to stay in this league.

Johno was by far one of the best players we have and I to would rather have given up that 50K and kept Johno til the end of the season.

Ah well... time only will tell if Mr Webb is a genius or doesn't have a clue.

50k is rubbish compared to 500k what a rip off
