| It might not be the H5N1 strain but it's here now and we must keep aware of it. |

Confirmed tonight as the H51N strain, several other birds are under test. But don't panic. Whilst some humans have died through contact with infected birds it has not mutated to the point where it can infect other humans. Its the birds that will inevitably be slaughtered that I fell sorry for. We had a large bird of prey (Hawk or Kestrel ?) visit our garden this morning, the first time ever in the 15 years since we have been here.
I have a camera at the ready should it return tomorrow.... |
