Not that I am aware of. Some suggestions by Gulls fans that he will be allowed to play the return game against Birmingham (in a week's time), and then he will return to HP.

Not gospel though.

I'd like to see him recalled as soon as possible and given Amankwaah's place in the starting line-up. Amankwaah seems to have gone off the boil recently and a bit of competition would do him good.

He's gone off the boil from where he was at the beginning of the season - but then he was top class in the first couple months. For me, his attacking flair and pace mean he is an automatic in that position.

Locky to rerturn - but I think he'd be in with a shout of a centre-back role.

Amankwaah should be on the bench for a while. His greatest asset was always his attacking flair but he always looked dodgy defensively. Recently his attacking game has gone downhill and he's still not the best at the back, I also think he gets caught out of position far too often. Something else I've noticed lately is that he doesn't seem to care. Other players show their disappointment when they make a mistake but he doesn't ~ someone commented to me that perhaps he was just playing out his time until something else came along.

It was said around me on Saturday that he didn't look like the same player he was 3 months ago.

Another comment used was "playing out his time" I hope not as I think when he gets back to form he will be an excellent player - lets just hope he gets back in from in a Green shirt.

TBH, I was surprised to see him start on Saturday after his knock at Donny...........

kev was of the boil just after gary left but i felt he was getting back to his best and at donny i thought he was very good defence as well making a few crucial tackles and him and PT between them didn't allow macca anything he then got a knock from a dreadful tackle and had to go of which he was disapointed with so to say he doesn't care i would say is a bit stupid as he clearly wnts to play

against hartlepool i don't think he was fully fit and he did his hammy so he was hardly going to be running around but till he went of he was solid enough

start of the season he was on fire but no one else was for us where they? he looked absolute class as he was our best player game after game now the rest of the team are adapted to this leval and kev no longer shines like he did as others are playing at his leval i feel

as for locky brilliant player imo would like to see him at CB hs block at boston last year was top draw and i think he has been playing their for torquay as well :?

I have often said that Locky "Could" have nmore then 1 position - for me, he can play RB, CB and I have said before would like to see him as a "holding" midfielder - people say that have seen him play there with little success, I'm convinced he could make the switch. don't know why, just seen something that suggets it...........

Locky is a super player. In our present side, I would like him at RB.

I can still see him in some of our stirling performances at the likes of Donny & Mansfield (both away). Not one of the ones I would like to see released.

Locky is a very good player - but as a 'whole player' Kevin A offers more in the full-back position. It may be that the manager has curtailed his attacking ambition to make Yeovil a more difficult side to score against. Has anyone else noticed this change since GJ left?

I'll be delighted to see Locky back when he returns. I was really gutted for him when he picked up his L/T injury as, before the knock, he was one of Yeovil's more consistent performers.

Didn't think that he'd be given a chance but the loan seems to have done him the world of good and his return will be akin to Yeovil buying their first player of the transfer window. Amaks, Scotty and Skivo will certainly face stiff competition in due course :)

Can't see it - what would you rather have at this moment a good defender, or an average defender good going forward.

I agree Kev A may be more "complete" as a player, however I still reckon Locky is a better defender.

A defender has 6 players in front of him to be creative - lets defend and let the other 6 be creative. If you don;t conceede, you can't lose !

I know Amanks has come off injured a couple times recently, but the form of the defence has been good of late - so why does it need to change? Only losing 1 in 7 says it all.

Yeo 2- 0 Hartlepool
Donny 0 - 1 Yeovil
Yeo 1 - 1 B City
Tranmere 4 - 1 Yeo (OK this wasn't so good :( )
Yeo 1 - 1Bournemouth
Yeo 2 - 1 Barnsley
Rotherham 1 - 2 Yeovil

6 out of 7 games, 1 or less goals conceded. 4 out of 7 games won, another 2 drawn.

If you only concede a goal or less a game, you have a good chance of drawing or even winning. So why change the defence around? I certainly cannot see Thommo doing it if Amanks is fit.

KA set up Jevons goal at Donny, go check out the video clip.
That were a fabuluos 3 points. Leave Kev alone, he stays in the side in my book.

Don't think anyone is saying Kev A should be ousted by Locky, just that AL deserves a chance. Lets be honest, Kev A was injured at Donny, Injured against the Pool - perhaps a couple of weeks off wouls allow him time to fully recover. If this is the case, we have an able player in the shape of AL.

Just my thoughts................
