I'd like to apologise if you've tried to access YTFC Forum this evening and have either had a blank screen or got a timeout message.
Pipex, who host our server had a communications problem this evening. It is not clear yet what the cause of the problem was, but it resulted in an outage of about 4 hours.
The server itself was running fine, the problem was that the connection to the internet had gone down. All data and user accounts are fine, and the server has been backing up as normal.
If you have any further problems accessing the site this evening, please email me on darren@ytfcforum.co.uk. Alternatively, try visiting one of YTFC Forum's sister sites, such as www.pdaforum.net. This is hosted on the same server, and will indicate whether it's a communication or site problem. |
