| 48 year-old Head Teacher of Bedminster Down School, Bristol is officialy suing Bristol City Council, her former employers, claiming constructive dismissal and sex discrimination. She left her £48K per annum post last September. Click here for the full story. |

I heard that the parents found it all rather amusing and couldn't understand why she kept apologising for the sounds her chair was making.
The smell the chair was making on the other hand....

I can't believe she couldn't get her chair swapped for another one.
Doesn't sound very assertive for a person in a £48K headship.
I regularly sell books and software to teachers who pay for these things using their own money and they moan about not being able to claim it back from the school. I am sure she could have brought in a chair from home, if she didn't want to pay for a replacement. |
