As many of you are aware, Rotherham United were in danger of folding, with a possible collapse any day now.
It has been reported that a group of local businessmen have come together and effectively taken over the club.

That is good news for football.
The consequence for the league and teams such as ours with the prospect of losing any hard earned points and the adjustment that would have been needed to the league table alone would have been a nightmare.
I did send a small donation to the supporters fund with my fingers crossed that it may help if enough people did the same! I see the fund raised £250k in a very short time. It is good to se what can be done when the chips are down.
Good luck to them and as long as they stay behind us in the league, happy days :lol: |
