As you may be aware, there is a facility on here to store your Instant Messaging ids, such as MSN and Yahoo.
If you are planning to add somebody, please make sure you've asked them if it's ok. Don't just go through profiles and add people who are displaying their IM addresses. Also, before you do so, please think about it - is that person an appropriate person to be chatting to? Will your approach to them cause them any discomfort?
If this guideline is not followed, and the harvesting of MSN/Yahoo Messenger addresses continues, then I will be looking to ban certain members. |
