It has been brought to my attention that it is possible a member of this site may be gathering a list of members of this forum and the green room.
It is not clear what they intend to do with this information, but I would like to remind anyone who is doing this that it is in clear breach of the Data Protection Act. Any attempt to use data gained in this way from this forum will be punished to the full extent of the law. Along with this, the offender's attempt and personal data will be publicised.
I would like to stress that your data is completely safe here. Only data that you have opted to show will display to other forum members. If you haven't opted for this (the default setting) then the only people who can see your details are moderators, you and anyone you've added as a 'buddy'.
If you need any clarification regarding this, then please feel free to ask me. |
