A very good deal for the club :-) With him and Darren in the midfield we will match most of the teams we have seen so far in this league ;-)

Great signing fo us - hope he continues to build on what have been excellent performances so far.

Personally, would still like to see another midfielder adde to the squad to cover for LJ going, ideal time to pick up an ex Prem "reject" and blood him over the next 6 months. We do look a little exposed for "attacking" midfielders with LJ gone if either Darren or Chris pick up an injury.

I am very excited by this extension. He is a very good player who will only get better the more he plays. Hopefully, we can snatch him away from anyone elses clutches during the summer for a free......please.

any idea what sort of contract he is on ? We can't have him on a free as he's under 24 (I think) but if he is on a youth contract, we may be able to get him on the cheap ?

do people think he will play better with darren though?

i mean with johno he seemed to have to battle more but do people reckon he is a playmaker as well? he is very comfortable on the ball and sems to be able to pick a pass i just wounder if he will now play a more influential role like johnson did so well for us :?

Nope, not sure what sort of contract he is on. Hopefully, it's only to the end of the season. We will have some stiff competition for him though if he keeps improving as he does.

i thought it didn't matter if his contract ran out at the send of the season - I was under the impression that Bosman only applied to players less than 24 - if the're under 24 it goes to a tribunal ? anyone confirm my understanding ?
