Just having a think, who recently has gone on to bigger and better things since they left YTFC - when I say recent, I mean in the last 5-10 years.
SP - below us in the L1
Ben smith - re-signed for the bullsh*tters
Lee Elam - Whymouth
Tonkin - Is he still at Stockport ?
Gareee- Chester
Bartoz - Last minute sub in Scotland relagation fight ?
Gav - hopefully going on to bigger and better things with Ipswich, howver not a great time at West Ham ?
Not wishing LJ ill, I just wonder how many players who have left us are in a better position than when they were with us.
Alright, some of them probably get paid more than when they were here, however have they really progressed up the pyramid ? |

Bartoz - Dunfermline
Gav - Ipswich
Stanners - Hereford
Of those, Gav is the only one that has really gone on to better things. Dunfermline are struggling and Batroz is on the bench.
Mind you, not all the players that have moved on in the past few years are in the same league as LJ (possibly GW and, a few years back, a certain big central defender sold to Bristol City). |

True,
I still look at that list and think we sold Lisa too early - I really think with the right training, he could have gone a long way - well, a lot further than Wales anway :-) |
