Now I realise this doesn't currently affect us at Huish Park but....
This thread is for all football fans that want the freedom of choice and to try and get the football authorities to work more with football supporters.
This is a request to all people that are members of other clubs forums to start a topic with a link either to this particular topic, or a link to the “Stand up/Sit down” petition (at the bottom of this topic) on their forum/s please.
If you put a link to the petition on your own forum, as appose to a link to this particular topic, can you ask the supporters of other clubs that are on your forum/s, to put the link to the petition on their own forum/s too and ask them to ask the same to the fans of other clubs on their forum/s and so on… until this petition is on as many forums as possible. Also, can you bump the thread every couple of weeks and ask the other clubs fans to do the same please.
The four steps:
1) Place a link to this thread or a link to the petition on your clubs forum/s.
If you put a link to this particular topic, go to step 4…
2) Ask supporters that aren’t from your club to put a link to this thread or a link to the petition on their forum/s.
3) Ask them to ask the supporters that aren’t from their club to put a link on their own forum/s etc…
4) Bump the thread to the top of the forum every couple of weeks.
The more publicity the petition can get, the more signatures there will be and there will be more chance of the authorities sitting up and taking notice and together with the fans, coming up with a common sense solution to standing at football matches…
It only takes two minutes to add your name to the petition…
Lets stand together!

| The reason you aren't allowed to stand infront of your seat as that website says... is down to safety reasons. If people pay for a seat then sit on it, don't stand infront of it. True fans should be able to support a team wether they are standing or sitting, why should a big deal be made of it? |
