So the FA Cup final wont be held at the Wembley Stadium and will be in Cardiff again then, as there wasnt a 100% certainty the new stadium would be ready.

It's part of the British disease.

Just like all large projects that have a political dead-line, the 'workers' can hold the contractor to ransom with unreasonable pay demands.

I'd rather it was late.

A friend of mine is a plumber on the site and has know for months that it would not be ready! He is happy though as he is on top money.

Not really. For a start, the company building it is Australian. Most projects they've been involved in have been under budget and on time.

The problems were caused by one of their subcontractors going out of business. They then had to find a replacement and had to pay the new subcontractor.
