Sooner or later, the nucleus of our side would have been broken up. It could not go on forever.

Player movements in the last couple of days may be the first of more. Some new faces may come in. This month will certainly be an important one for the Glovers.

Let's just hope that any transition is done gradually and not wholesale. I can understand the reasons behind the changes but, this must be done bit by bit. Too much change too quickly could do more harm than good.

One thing that is more important than anything is, that we should get behind the lads even more so now. Our vocal backing at this time could make a huge difference to how things pan out.

Yes, we are all dissappointed but, there is not that much we can do about player movements apart from support those who remain and those who join.

I agree. Whatever happens, we should always be behind the team. Whoever it consists of.

However, if we're left with a conference class or lower team at the end of the transfer window, it's clear what the FCRM is up to. If he's out to destroy the team he'll have to deal with the wrath of a 5000+ strong lynch mob.

I will certainly give my vocal support. But if Webb Jr ends up in the team, I'll also be vocal about that. And no doubt will most of the ground.

Spot on Darren. If Webby Jnr. signs I will personally hold the noose.

I am worried as to the quality of any replacements we may bring in. A replacement for Jonno would cost a fair bit, probably more than we are getting for him.

It ceratinly is going to be a nail biting time for us all.

I know that the braking up of the current Yeovil team is inevitable. It is just what should have been a season full of joy has been a troubled season IMO. First GJ leaves and all of the talk is of the players leaving with him. I am not sure that has run it’s full course yet and I would expect a departure to BCFC in this window, most possibly one of our keepers again IMO.

Then we have the DW take over that must have been known about in the inner circles for some months? Along with that none of our players have signed new contracts! I can only think because no one from the club tells us that DW gave this instruction as part of the take over discussions.

I do not doubt DW has an eye for talent and among the players brought in we could find a real treasure (or two). I just fear that YTFC took 108 years to get into the lofty position we are now and DW will sell the assets that could keep us here. Of course I do hope I am wrong and would be the first to say I was wrong. At the moment I see very little light at the end of the tunnel and I will wait until 1 Feb when this transfer window has closed before I fully reassess my opinions.

As for Webb Jnr……..Noooooooo!! :-(

If he does get it seriously wrong and we end up with all our assets sold off by February, I'd be happy to be within the lynch mob/picket line outside HP baying for Webb's blood. I will not stand back and let Webb run us into the ground.

The Brentford game should be interesting. All four sides of the ground will be united against a common enemy. Though I doubt Webb or Webb Jr would be attending that match on police advice.

I think if Yeovil fans want to mount a lynching mob then I will not be among them. It took GJ a couple of seasons to build the Squad he wanted. I would expect Thommos/Hodges and Webb to take more than 2 months to sort out how they are working together.

We were not expecting to go up from League 1 in a Season, so long as we are still in this League in May, they will have my support. Of course if off the pitch matters rear their head and they appear to be going in an adverse direction I will speak out like every other fan, but I think there are too many rushing to judgement at present.

Its my opinion that the player moves we have seen so far would have happened anyway.

Whilst I agree it's going to take time for ST/KH to develop their "own" team - I think it will become blatantly clear if DW is asset stripping way before that.

I think thats the concern in the YTFC supporters camp at the moment - DW, prove us wrong !
