So, how much did we get for Jonno?
Rumour of £500k
Wonder what Chief Webb will want to do with that?
While we're in the transfer window, I'd take another loss and let Bastianini go - not that I know how he came to even be considered good enough for us.
Then scout for another quality goal scorer, and make Chris Cohen permanent - assuming the Hammers allow and he's not too dear.
Then the team seems pretty balanced, so lets get on with aiming for the play-off zone.
Good luck Jonno. |

I don't think it will be anywhere near 500k.
No club in their right mind would spend that kind of money on a League 1 player who they could get for free 4/5 months later. I think we will be lucky to get 125/150k with a decent sell on clause. He is, of course, worth much more. |

I would not read too much into the amount we got for Johno that is being thrown around. We will only get disappointed when the money is not invested into the squad. I would expect the fee would be linked to appearances and reaching the Champions League and any other thing that could mean paying the least amount up front.
I am rather cynical though ;-) |

The figure mentioned is £600,000 seems a lot however, for second in the SPL with a Russian benifactor it may be a resonable offer.
Is Lee worth it ? well Celtic are rumoured to want McKindoe for £500,000 so based on that Lee is a bargain !! |

| Just seen that Forest paid £675,000 for Tyson. So I hope we got a similar figure esp. since Hearts have one of those Russian tycoons bank-rolling them. |

I'm not sure how much we have agreed for Johnson, but I can tell you we (I mean Hearts here by the way) have just agreed to buy Bosnian winger Mirsad Beslija for £1million ahead opf Middlesboro, Sunderland and Leeds so the money has started rolling again so you never know.
To be honest i don't expect it to be anything as much as £675k but maybe something between £250k and £500k? |

250K would be the same that Gavin Williams went to West Ham for. He did have longer to go on his contract though.
I would be happy with that, specially if there were sell ons etc. |

Personally I would be surprised if we got as much as we did for Gav - after all LJ only has 4/5 months on his contract.
think we have to take a reality check here - whatever we get now is better then nothing in the summer - the joy of the Bosman ruling. |

| I would be surprised as well. If we do, great. |

| With 6 months of a contract left, no more than 100k to 125k, maybe less |

Yeah, I'm thinking around the £100K mark possibly £125K or could be £150K but I don't believe he could go for anything higher. |

| Try much less than £100K and you'll be much nearer to the truth. |
