Confession time
When I was younger I played pool for two pub teams (Tues and Thurs) - one in Salisbury and the other in Portland. I also played snooker for a club in Portland (Mon).
Quite often there'd be a knockout competition (Weds). Friday and Saturday nights I'd meet up with friends to play snooker from 6-9 and pool from 9-closing time.
Sunday, I usually limited myself to a game or two of snooker at lunchtime.
Didn't have time to watch Portland United or Weymouth.
No idea why I'm so fat?
Keep meaning to take up snooker again but don't seem to have the time and, despite the hours of practise, I never was any good. Pool though, now that i did like but it costs too much these days.
:)

| I play snooker most weeks, in Bristol. Age doesn't improve one's game, however. Pool is a kids game and is beneath contempt! |
