Dear Mr Abromavich,
Do you have any business associates that could come & save our club from certain destruction from a Mr David Webb. In a matter of days he has taken our club, one with prospects and promise and systematically dismantled it for seemingly his own personal gain.
His ambition to have his son play in the league in which he truly belongs, (the conference south) seems to loom ever closer!
Please if you have any solutions or suggestions contact our club.
Yours,
A. D. Esparate. (Yeovil Fan) :-( |

If you're going to ask someone for help then you really should spell his name correctly. :)
Seriously though, there isn't any proof that Webb is behind any of this and, as I've said on another thread, who's to say that these players wouldn't have left anyway. It's already been mentioned that LJ had told the club last summer that he wouldn't sign a new contract so he would have gone anyway. Sodje, by all accounts, was causing problems in the dressing room so it was probably the right thing for him to leave. |

I went to bed last night feeling quite despondent about the whole situation. The world had ended as I knew it. I woke up in the morning and thought what a tw@t I am.
It's not the end of the world or our club for that matter. I suspect this may be the beginning of a new phase.
There is a theory...well more of a known truism really. It's called Bruce Tuckman's model of development. I know I'll get this wrong but it goes something like this.
When you have a team of people you go through stages, they are these.
1.0 Forming
2.0 Storming
3.0 Norming
4.0 Performing
Over the last few years our team has been going through this. Getting promoted meant we are at the top really performing. Whenever someone leaves you go back a level or two.
With all the change we've had recently we're back down to forming. All finding our way a little bit in unfamiliar surroundings with key people having left.
Don't worry too much, we'll soon be back to storming, then it'll be up to Webb/Thommo to get us norming and performing again!!!
Morre theoretical nonsense from me later!!! |

| What sort of situation are we in when we are signing conference players yet swindon are signing players from the championship. Lee Peackock on a two and a half year deal doesnt sound cheap to me but they are in absolutly an dire cash situation so if they can do it why can't we? |
