Having seen Mr Webb driving round the ground with his architect, do I come to the conclusion we're to have some structural improvements or maybe he was just having a look to see how many houses he could fit on the site

Maybe he's scouting where his son's private dressing room/palace will be so he doesn't get too bothered by all the teammates getting angry with him?

NorthYorks...

I think you misunderstand....we do not hate Daniel Webb, we dislike/are irritated/angered/frustrated by how he has been allowed to sign.

After being rejected by 5 other clubs in his career, including a conference south side in Weymouth, we do not feel there is any justification in the signing other than to please DW snr.

Before you state it; it is not the same as when GJ signed LJ, as LJ had been heard of by many and was known to be a good player not rejected by Weymouth or another side of a similar standard.

i understand what you are saying, but we have to give the guy a chance, they are not gonna ditch him if everyone on here crys about it.

his position will be decided on the pitch, if the guys a useless flop on the pitch in a league 1 match then that will decide his fate.

If the guy goes on to score double figures in the remaining games of the season do we really care if he is crap? no games are won on goals.

Think that's the problem - no-one can see him scoring double figures (unless he plays with us for another 2 seasons, look at his record).

If he scores, fair play to him, well done and I will cheer / sing applaud, however if ST feels he has to play him because "his dad's the owner" then we're sending a clear signal to the rest of the squad.

Do you really think that from DW Snr's record, after he has stinker he's going to say that he made a cock up and we should release him ? or is he going to languish in the ressies, getting first team money ?

The frustration is not aimed at DW Jnr, after all if we could all get paid doing a job we love we would, it's at his dad for the way it's happened. Regardless of whether he is good / bad / indifferent, he's here because his dads the boss - fact. GJ didn't sign him when he was on trial, never good enough for us before - his dad arrives and suddenly he's here - thats the frustration.

HUMOUR ALERT

All this reminds me the old joke that ends with

'his dad bought him a cowboy outfit'

:)
