It is clear to anyone and everyone that attendances are disappointing. It must be only a matter of time before the club will be struggling to survive financially. I believe there are two choices. The club can:
stagnate and become a feeder club for the more affluent and better supported teams in League 1 and, occasionally, the Championship.
or,
move to a new, purpose-built ground at the Cartgate. This would ease post match traffic congestion; entice more support from further afield (due to the better road links); encourage more away supporters to visit Yeovil's new stadium.
In my view, promotion to the Championship would be a disaster while the club remains at Huish Park.
