I've just been chatting to a solicitor friend of mine. We got talking about the Ruth Kelly case, and some of the things I heard are quite scary.
Did you know that if you were caught urinating against a wall (for instance, after kicking out time and no toilets open), you could be done for indecent exposure?
If you were a bit over amorous with the Mrs, and got a bit carried away (not necessarily all the way), you'd be done for gross indecency? Whether this was in a car, in a secluded spot somewhere or a quick knee trembler behind a pub.
For both of those, even a caution will result in being on the sex offenders register. No distinction, once someone finds you're on there that's it, you're a kiddie fiddler in their eyes.
I've done both at some point, particularly getting caught short after a few pints. And I'd expect quite a few members have also done one or both of the above. |
