The green room is still going at 50 posts a day at the moment, so I don't think thats the reason somehow !!

I don't use it because :

1) Problems with lock out and registration

2) Too much graphics - (picture signatures, avatars and advertising) means it won't work on my blackberry.

If you bookmark the link to the 'Lite version' from the menu above, this will work fine on a Blackberry. It's very light on graphics, and does not contain any signature images.

I've used it on both a Blackberry and a PDA. It's not ideal, but I'm currently testing a better PDA aware mod for this site on another forum that I run (which is about PDAs and Blackberries!).

Regarding the advertising - I'd rather not have to run adverts on the site, but the sad fact is that this site costs money to host and run. Much of this is subsidised by my other business activities. Some assistance has been provided through donations, but advertising is the only way the site ends up not costing me a fortune.

I love the site and the features. The problem in terms of the debate is the old faces from Ciderspace forum have stuck with the boring spiders thead format that I have always loathed myself, and stayed with the Green room and ignored everything else. Even Ali and Badger only bother to post on here to tell you about something on their sites, rarely if ever do they reply to a posting here.

For a while we had Haribo which was good as he's clearly very knowledgeable. Tempting some of the "Club insiders" to post things on here at present would help, at present that only seems to happen to on the Green room.

i aint posted for a while cos it the summer and it nice to have a break from all the football plus in this weather it to hot to be sat in front of a computor screen but come august i will prob post a bit on here i also use LP but i expect i will use this more as the season goes on the green room for me is bloody confusing :lol:

I stopped lurking for a while because so many posts were in 'text speak', or had no punctuation etc., which made it hard work.......(or maybe I'm just a lightweight!)

Sorry if that offends anyone, but when I'm in a hurry, I don't want to have to put my codebreakers head on. :wink:

I prefer this format but the Green Room was basically IMO the direct replacement of Ciderspace, due to the format but I'd like this forum to stay open.

i just thought i'd finally join a forum after reading the old ciderspace one for a couple of years...basically cos i think darren has done a good job on this one and i hope more folks participating can make it as interesting and thought-provoking as ciderspace's was!

I have used this site, and this site alone since the end of Ciderspace. I havn't been on here recently as I have been in America but I'm back now ready for a new season and I'm sure there are other people like me who will now liven up for the new season.
