Some news that's going to devastate a couple of our younger members. Colin Miles has turned down the latest contract offer.
He's now a free agent, so that's another player we've got to find. It's not clear where he's going, but whoever it is will find a good player in young Colin. |

Very sad IMO. :shock: :(
Colin always played with a big heart for this club and gave 100%. He has been a little injury prone, even with that I would have liked him to stay for this coming season. :?
I would have thought he would not be short of offers! |

That is very sad. :cry: I'm sure Mrs Miles will be devastated. :cry:
He was a very good player. especially when he managed to break that players leg without even a warning, let alone a card.

He hasn't gone anywhere as yet.... just refused the offer he had.
So we will have to wait and see where he turns up. |

rightyho then Chaps, just got back from my holidays and i am not amussed! I had several texts and phone calls from Glovers fans and Bloody Milesy! To be honest i'm not too bad, cus i have been saying he'll go for 3 years at least but i think i might just have to pay a visit to his house and have a chat with him, probably why he turned down the contract cus of me though! If he goes it will be the end of mrs Miles as i am known and frankly there'd be knowone to watch, as everyone knows i don't watch the team! I suppose Arron, but Colin isn't in it for the money, tis more like the passion!
bristol city can suck my widge, proper like! |

| Sad loss for the club but so many players have left it is unsuprising. A few teams have players like Miles who are big lads that are passionate and like to throw their weight around to let people know they're there. I like that and he will be missed, hope he goes to a league 1 club so we can see him back at HP and give him a warm welcome! |

| I read one report that suggested Lincoln wanted him. Don't know where he's going for sure as yet, but so many of the Squad he played with have now gone, its going to feel like a whole new Club come August. |
