The head of Al-Qaeda in Iraq Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi has been killed in an air raid near Baquba which according the Iraqi PM. Click here for the full story.

I know it's not nice to be pleased that someone has died but hopefully the death of one of the major Al-Qaeda figure is a step in the right direction for the war on terrorism.

My first reaction is Good news!

He will be replaced by another, possibly even more extreme individual looking for revenge on the troops based over there. My thoughts are with them and hope they all come back home soon and stay safe!
