Russell Slade has now been confirmed at the press conference as the new manager of YTFC.
He has signed a 2 year contract with the club.

Our new boss
---
He wasn't my first choice and some fans are disapointed with the appointment and I respect their views. It may seem like a strange appointment as it was reported that Fry wanted someone with experience at this level. When he joined Grimsby he was practically unproven at League 2 level and he nearly took them up so I'm 100% behind our new manager. Welcome Russell!!! :) |

Well said, I am sure that once he settles in Russell will cause us all a lot less hairs than last season!!
Lets hope that the players that were holding out to see who the new gaffer would be will now sign on the dotted line and renew their contracts.
Does anyone think/want to guess who Russell would/could bring into the squad? |

Suppose we could have a go at bringing in Reddy, he scored 9 in 24 this season. |
