| I see in the ciderspace report of Jan 10 that Gary J says that Lee's mum was born in Glasgow. Does this explain why we wear the hoops? Was it perhaps in honour of Gary's wife being a Celtic supporter :? OR was it because his mother-in-law supported Rangers  |

| Was the result of a poll ran by the club when we got promoted to the League. There were three choices & the hoops won hands down. |

IIRC there were 3 choices, 2 were green shirts and there was the hoops.
It was reported that the club and players preferred the hoops and the 'vote' was swayed. I believe this 'lobbying' got the hoops voted in and I still don't like them. I do own an old style hooped shirt but I would not buy a second one even though the design has changed. Instead, I buy the T-shirts.
Each to their own. I don't like the association with Celtic.
