It seems that the governing party doesn't seem to do to well in local elections but I think the pressure on Labour is on and if their popularity keeps decreasing Blair will be forced to step down.

Nice to see Ruth Kelly moved out of education - that needs a fresh approach.
Hasn't Patricia Hewitt been pushed out to the backbenches too?

Even though the Tories have the majority control in local government...I can't see Blair stepping down until his term in office is finished...He's too stubborn.
